Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, or analytical discipline
- Relevant experience or educational exposure to agribusiness, trading, or logistics
- Exposure to commodity trading, freight, or trade operations (plus)
- Strong interest in global trade, logistics, and supply chain management
- Understanding of commodity trading, freight & logistics
- Familiarity with market or execution risk concepts
- Strong Excel skills; BI or visualization tools experience is an advantage
- Ability to support operational and commercial decisions with data
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
- Confident decision-maker with strong attention to detail
Tasks
- Support global trade and logistics planning
- Coordinate ocean flows for beans, meals, and oils
- Collaborate with logistics managers, traders, and operational teams
- Optimize supply chain costs and trading book value
- Translate trading strategies into efficient supply chain plans
- Plan and coordinate port-to-port ocean shipments
- Ensure internal and external contractual commitments
- Understand interactions between trading, freight, and supply chains
- Monitor seaflow shipments and manage changes
- Track vessel movements and port activities
- Adjust plans across time zones as needed
- Handle disruptions, delays, and operational changes
- Manage loading and discharge plans
- Coordinate vessel speed and itinerary
- Prepare analyses and summaries for decision-making
- Lead cross-commodity planning and coordination
- Work with logistics systems and data
- Review logistics performance and execution risks
