- 7+ years senior level experience in pharma, HTA, or healthcare consultancy
- Pricing, access, and commercial experience across multiple brands/therapeutic areas
- Excellent analytical skills for information processing and insights
- Previous team management experience
- Strategic thinking with business and finance acumen
- Recent above country (regional/global) role experience preferred
- Experience/exposure to priority markets (US, EU5, China, Japan)
- Experience/exposure to emerging markets (LaCan, APMA) preferred
- Track record of successful cross-functional work
- Experience in reimbursement and HTA submissions negotiation
- 10+ years relevant senior level experience
- Advanced degree in Math, Economics, Business, Finance, Marketing, Health Policy, or Health Economics
Tasks
- Lead a Pricing & Contracting team with a disruptive mindset
- Develop innovative pricing strategies and tactics
- Support regions/countries in delivering expected results
- Provide effective and inspiring team leadership
- Focus on career development and talent retention
- Work across functions and geographies to meet customer needs
- Ensure key stakeholder alignment
- Serve as a reliable contact point for priority countries
- Provide active, effective support at the country level
- Interact regularly with priority countries
- Facilitate operational pricing scenario analysis
- Propose and consult on innovative contract solutions
- Share pricing approaches and strategies with the US organization
- Educate senior leadership on pricing and reimbursement landscapes
- Identify and address pricing policy barriers/opportunities
- Develop strategic and operational plans for key policy issues
- Endorse or withhold price proposals for assigned countries
- Monitor local pricing implementation
- Oversee vendor/consulting/internal projects on strategic pricing
- Develop and review pricing and contracting strategies
- Ensure alignment with program and brand strategies
- Optimize brand value and market access
- Collaborate on pricing research with international functions
- Identify competitive trends and synthesize competitor price information
- Trigger actions based on competitive insights
- Design and oversee international launch sequence optimization
- Coordinate with key countries and regions
- Ensure global optimization of pricing and access
- Develop and co-create models to optimize pricing and access
- Recommend adaptations to pricing strategies
- Coordinate input into early-stage product price assessments
- Validate price, dosing, endpoint, and comparator selection
