- 5+ years commercial experience in CDMO space
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Additional languages advantage
- Proven full sales or project lifecycle management
- Proven contract negotiation leadership
- Proactive stakeholder leadership in contract closure
- Ability to create customer-focused presentations
- Knowledge of drug development lifecycle
- Strong technical understanding of cell and gene therapy
- Strong technical understanding of mRNA manufacturing
- Strong technical understanding of Microbial manufacturing
- Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce desirable
Tasks
- Drive growth for Lonza’s Specialized Modalities platform
- Build strong customer relationships in mainland Europe
- Develop new business opportunities
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Engage customers to develop new opportunities
- Own the sales cycle from first contact to deal closure
- Understand and position customer needs effectively
- Develop a broad network in cell and gene therapy, mRNA, and microbial markets
- Plan and attend customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
- Generate new leads through customer interactions
- Share market insights and competitive intelligence
- Collaborate with internal teams on tailored proposals
- Ensure smooth account handovers
