Tasks

  • Manage end-to-end production of assigned conferences, courses, and events
  • Support scientific organisers through project stages from kick-off to onsite delivery
  • Liaise with scientific speakers and trainers throughout the 1-2 year lifecycle
  • Serve as primary contact for participants from registration to post-event
  • Use event management software for registrations, applications, abstracts, and reviews
  • Monitor event budgets, manage costs, and track registration payments
  • Process speaker expenses to ensure financial compliance
  • Prepare financial and statistical reports for funders and partners
  • Update and maintain event websites with current information
  • Coordinate logistics including catering, technical setup, transport, travel, and accommodation
  • Plan non-scientific event content such as networking sessions, tours, and social events
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials and run campaigns
  • Lead on-site delivery of events, ensuring smooth operations
  • Support colleagues during their on-site shifts
  • Contribute to innovation projects and working groups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and service providers
  • Handle administrative tasks required for the role
