Tasks
- Manage end-to-end production of assigned conferences, courses, and events
- Support scientific organisers through project stages from kick-off to onsite delivery
- Liaise with scientific speakers and trainers throughout the 1-2 year lifecycle
- Serve as primary contact for participants from registration to post-event
- Use event management software for registrations, applications, abstracts, and reviews
- Monitor event budgets, manage costs, and track registration payments
- Process speaker expenses to ensure financial compliance
- Prepare financial and statistical reports for funders and partners
- Update and maintain event websites with current information
- Coordinate logistics including catering, technical setup, transport, travel, and accommodation
- Plan non-scientific event content such as networking sessions, tours, and social events
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials and run campaigns
- Lead on-site delivery of events, ensuring smooth operations
- Support colleagues during their on-site shifts
- Contribute to innovation projects and working groups
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and service providers
- Handle administrative tasks required for the role
