Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, business, international relations, or events management
- Minimum two years administrative experience and demonstrated success coordinating events
- Prior office/administration experience, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail

- Excellent oral and written communication in French and English, with empathetic active listening
- Strong interest in international human rights and commitment to personal learning
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiences, including donors
- Ability to work under pressure juggling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Event planning, community engagement, or philanthropy experience desirable
- Self-motivation, ability to prioritize, work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Professional experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud desirable
- Valid work authorization for employment in Switzerland
Tasks
- Record campaigns, appeals, gifts, and contact information in Salesforce
- Generate financial reports, lists, and queries
- Update Salesforce information
- Schedule and prepare for meetings
- Take minutes and prepare agendas
- Process mail and respond to inquiries
- Make travel arrangements
- Process and track department expenses
- Organize logistics for outreach and cultivation events
- Coordinate HRW's annual Voices for Justice dinner
- Coordinate conferences and privately hosted events
- Prepare and distribute internal and external materials
- Draft, edit, and format documents
- Translate documents
- Proofread newsletters, printed materials, and presentations
- Maintain communication with other departments and stakeholders
- Respond to general inquiries from the public and internal teams
- Write gift acknowledgement letters and tax receipts
- Track communication with Geneva Committee members, donors, and supporters
- Recruit and train interns
- Assist with donor research and profiles
- Perform other required tasks
