Requirements

  • •Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
  • •Experience in embedded systems and real-time applications
  • •Experience designing software for safety-critical systems
  • •Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS experience
  • •Experience with battery management or electric propulsion
  • •Familiarity with RTCA DO-178C and DO-254
  • •Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • •Strong communication and technical concept conveyance
  • •Fluent English and beneficial German skills

Tasks

  • •Lead embedded software development for propulsion batteries
  • •Design power distribution software from prototypes to airworthy systems
  • •Implement development processes following aviation standards
  • •Document software requirements and system interfaces
  • •Collaborate with engineers on battery estimation algorithms
  • •Develop cell balancing and fault detection logic
  • •Create power control and thermal management solutions
  • •Conduct thorough software testing and system validation
  • •Support iron bird testing and certification efforts
  • •Monitor advancements in battery technology and aviation regulations
