Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Background in power electronics and hardware design
- Experience with electrical protection and converters
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment
- Understanding of electronics packaging and EMI/EMC
- Ability to debug complex hardware issues
- Experience with wide bandgap semiconductors
- Familiarity with electronics simulation tools
- Knowledge of high-voltage and high-power systems
- Experience with DO-254 process
- Experience with aerospace and defence standards
Tasks
- Design power distribution units and DC-DC converters
- Capture and manage requirements systematically
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs
- Perform circuit simulations and design optimization
- Select and qualify power components and magnetics
- Lead prototype builds and validation testing
- Conduct failure analysis and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and production teams
- Support manufacturing ramp-up and field issue resolution
- Maintain technical documentation and design reviews
