Requirements

  • •Degree in a health-related field with postgraduate qualification in Public Health or Project Administration
  • •Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, public health surveillance, or health information systems
  • •Proven experience in financial and contract management
  • •Work experience with project management tools
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • •Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa and/or challenging operating environments
  • •Knowledge of donor-funded health programs and global health architecture
  • •Fluency in English
  • •Fluency in French desired
  • •Analytical Level 2

Tasks

  • •Liaise with country stakeholders for grant implementation
  • •Coordinate with Implementation Specialists and Country Teams for project planning
  • •Monitor project deliverables, budgets, and timelines
  • •Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • •Support knowledge management and documentation of project outputs
  • •Coordinate internal and external communications for project alignment
  • •Compile information on health information and surveillance systems
  • •Draft communications for senior management and stakeholders
  • •Create briefing materials and summaries for meetings
  • •Maintain accurate reporting on project implementation
  • •Conduct regular monitoring and analysis of implementation progress
  • •Generate evidence for strategic investments in future grants
  • •Guide country engagement in GF strategy-aligned initiatives
  • •Monitor co-financing requirements and advocate for sustainability
