Requirements
- Pursuing Master's or PhD in CS, Robotics, EE, or related
- Strong knowledge of PyTorch or JAX
- Familiarity with Transformers, LLMs, or VLMs
- Hands-on experience with Linux embedded systems and edge AI hardware
- Understanding of drone flight stacks (PX4/ArduPilot) and MAVLink
- Strong problem-solving skills connecting AI to hardware
- Comfortable in experimental environments with rapid iteration
- Curiosity and hands-on approach to real-world technology
- Enjoyment of solving complex software, hardware, autonomy problems
- Fast learner, excited by challenging systems development
- Innovative mindset for complex challenges
Tasks
- Develop low latency AI pipelines for voice command conversion
- Optimize real-time drone actions on edge computing hardware
- Benchmark Vision Language Action models for autonomous flight
- Adapt models for FPV drone control
- Build software interfaces for edge compute and drone communication
- Curate multimodal datasets combining voice and visual FPV data
- Fine-tune datasets for noisy and tactical environments
- Improve inference performance and reduce latency
- Support safe and responsive flight operations
- Collaborate with AI engineers, robotics specialists, and aerospace teams
- Prototype and test next-generation autonomous capabilities
- Work with cutting-edge hardware like NVIDIA Jetson
