Accounting Manager(m/w/x)

Description

Consolidated financial reporting for 10 Geneva entities across energy trading and shipping sectors. Minimum 10 years diversified finance experience and IFRS proficiency required. Direct reporting line to GM Finance with oversight of statutory closings.

Tasks

• •Report directly to the GM Finance
• •Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• •Ensure reliable statutory and consolidated financial statements
• •Manage financial reporting for 10 Geneva entities
• •Oversee trading and shipping accounting
• •Manage derivatives and overheads accounting
• •Execute SOX controls actively
• •Manage external and internal audit processes
• •Prepare financial statements for tax returns
• •Improve process efficiency constantly
• •Review internal invoicing and service level agreements
• •Analyze financial controls and budget follow-up
• •Partner with Operations, IT, and Financial Controlling
• •Monitor IFRS, Swiss, and French accounting norms
• •Apply TotalEnergies guidelines to financial statements
• •Implement IFRS 9, 7, 13, 16, and 18
• •Support trading entities as an accounting specialist
• •Advise on accounting for specific business operations
• •Manage a team of 16 specialized accountants
• •Direct recruitment, organization, and staff training
• •Drive team digitalization using Python and PowerBi
• •Ensure timely and high-quality team deliverables
• •Maintain effective back-up systems for accounting tasks
