Requirements
- Higher secondary education, high school diploma or equivalent
- Seven years relevant work experience in senior administrative, coordination and management support
- Five years relevant work experience with first-level university degree or higher
- Relevant experience in supporting governance, management or corporate processes
- Experience collecting, consolidating, organizing and summarizing information
- Experience facilitating cross-divisional or cross-directorate coordination
- Experience within UN system or international/multicultural environment
- Experience/proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience/proficiency in internet usage
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluency and/or working knowledge of another official UN language

Tasks
- Support coherence and integration of governance and management frameworks
- Develop and refine corporate governance policies and institutional frameworks
- Compile and organize background materials for strategic initiatives
- Highlight gaps and inconsistencies in cross-directorate matters
- Support preparation of Directorate-level inputs for IRPF reporting
- Collect and consolidate data for Programme and Budget follow-up
- Maintain and update monitoring and tracking tools
- Flag overdue items and matters requiring attention
- Coordinate data gathering and maintenance of oversight findings
- Liaise with internal and external offices to track management actions
- Consolidate updates and support follow-up of agreed actions
- Compile analytical and procedural input for managerial documentation
- Support preparation of materials for internal and external engagements
- Ensure coherence and alignment with organizational priorities
- Recommend improvements to work processes and practices
- Arrange and prepare for meetings
- Prepare minutes and follow-up actions
- Receive and respond to incoming requests
- Provide advice and solutions to inquiries
- Draft routine and non-routine correspondence
- Prepare papers, statistics, reports, and presentations
- Maintain an up-to-date electronic filing system
- Perform other related duties and assignments
