Requirements
- •PhD in solid-state physics, NMR, quantum technologies, optics, spectroscopy, or related field
- •More than 3 years of research experience in relevant area
- •Passion for physics, curiosity, and open mindset
- •Strong experimental skills and enthusiasm for hands-on lab work
- •Programming, engineering, and prototyping skills are a plus
- •Interest in applied research and solving industrial relevant challenges
- •Autonomous, self-initiative, well organized, and enjoyment of dynamic multicultural team work
- •Professional communication skills in English, command of German is a plus
- •Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria

- •Conduct experimental work in the Applied Quantum Sensing team
- •Design, develop, and test optical solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
- •Create and evaluate electronic solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
- •Develop and test magnetic solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
- •Implement microwave solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
- •Drive the development of novel quantum control protocols
- •Implement software solutions for quantum systems
- •Implement hardware solutions for quantum systems
- •Manage research projects independently and execute them successfully
- •Occasionally acquire new projects
