Requirements
- •PhD or MSc in physics, quantum technology, electronics engineering, or similar
- •Background in trapped-ion quantum technology
- •Some experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- •Experience in industrial environment
- •Proficiency in English; German or willingness to learn
- •Motivation and teamwork skills
- •Willingness to relocate to Austria/Villach
- •Willingness to travel
Education
Tasks
- •Support ion-trap chip development and fabrication
- •Utilize 200 mm wafer-level technology in cleanroom facilities
- •Assist in testing developed ion-trap chip devices
- •Participate in the design and technological advancement of ion-trap chips
- •Communicate research findings to scientific and non-scientific audiences
- •Align with industry and academic partners
- •Contribute to project management activities
- •Occasionally assist in R&D project acquisition
