Requirements

  • •MSc in solid-state physics, NMR, quantum technologies, optics, spectroscopy, or related field
  • •Passion for physics, curiosity, and open mindset
  • •Strong experimental skills and enthusiasm for hands-on lab work
  • •Programming, engineering, and prototyping skills
  • •Interest in applied research and solving industrial relevant challenges
  • •Autonomy, self-initiative, organization, and enjoyment of dynamic multicultural teamwork
  • •Professional communication skills in English, command of German is a plus
  • •Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria

  • •Conduct experimental work in the Applied Quantum Sensing team
  • •Design and develop optical solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
  • •Develop and test electronic solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
  • •Create and test magnetic solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
  • •Design and test microwave solutions for quantum systems-on-chip
  • •Drive the development of novel quantum control protocols
  • •Implement software solutions for quantum systems
  • •Implement hardware solutions for quantum systems
