- Experience managing full employee lifecycle
- Knowledge of Austrian labor law
- Tech-savvy with quick system learning ability
- Excellent written and verbal German communication
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective cross-functional and cross-geo collaboration
- Based in Vienna or willing to relocate
- Willing to work in-office minimum 3 days/week
- Willing to travel occasionally
- Understanding of working across time zones
- Comfortable operating in a global organization
- Bachelor's Degree in HR/business preferred
Tasks
- Support day-to-day People Ops functions
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes
- Manage employee benefits and leaves
- Coordinate payroll and immigration
- Administer HRIS for Vienna and Amsterdam offices
- Support potential future EMEA locations
- Collaborate with Payroll, Legal, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace teams
- Ensure accurate data exchange and efficient operations
- Partner with global People & Legal teams
- Navigate cross-border people processes
- Maintain compliance with employment laws
- Use HR data and metrics for strategic decision-making
- Drive improvements in HR processes
- Contribute to HR policy development
- Improve and localize People programs
- Foster inclusion and trust in the Vienna office
- Align with Sentry’s global values
- Surface issues and propose solutions
- Shape the future of team support globally
- Provide backup coverage for the Vienna office
