Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • •Experience with schematic and layout circuit design tools
  • •Knowledge of analog design circuits such as ADC and DAC
  • •Strong knowledge of analog circuits like switched capacitor amplifiers, current regulators, photodetectors, readout circuits
  • •Autonomy and self-initiative
  • •Well organized
  • •Enjoyment of working in a dynamic and multicultural team
  • •Professional communication skills in English
  • •Command of German language is a plus
  • •Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria

Tasks

  • •Research and develop innovative IC solutions for quantum sensor readout circuits
  • •Design schematics and layouts for analog circuits, including DACs and amplifiers, in CMOS technology
  • •Verify and conduct lab measurements of analog circuits using measurement equipment
  • •Participate in demonstrator development
  • •Contribute to high-level research with scientific output
  • •Co-author scientific papers for high-impact journals and enhance SAL's scientific visibility
  • •Assist in project acquisition, funding proposals, and project management under guidance
  • •Engage in scientific networking to boost SAL’s visibility and reputation
