Sourcing ML researchers and infrastructure talent globally for a tabular foundation model startup. Seed to Series B startup experience and closing ML researchers required. 30 days vacation, fitness allowance.
Anforderungen
- 5+ years in-house technical recruiting
- Deep-tech, AI/ML, or research-led startup experience
- Seed to Series B startup experience
- Track record closing ML researchers or research engineers
- Familiarity with top tier frontier labs
- Hiring experience in Germany, wider EU, or US (NYC)
- Fluency in ML talent landscape
- Knowledge of top ML labs and conferences
- Distinguishing research vs. engineering profiles
- Experience with modern ATS architecture
- Ashby or equivalent ATS experience
- Stage design in ATS
- Rejection taxonomy in ATS
- Funnel reporting in ATS
Aufgaben
- Source scarce ML research and infrastructure talent globally
- Explore mainstream and niche talent pools
- Position Prior Labs compellingly against competitors like OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, and Mistral
- Navigate multi-hub hiring across Freiburg, Berlin, and New York
- Handle visa processes, compensation bands, and notice periods
- Screen technical depth efficiently without overusing founder time
- Run structured interview loops with clear rubrics and fast debriefs
- Manage, negotiate, and close job offers
- Operate the pipeline operationally in the ATS
- Maintain clean stages and weekly metrics
- Conduct outbound sourcing on LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, and arXiv
- Achieve high reply rates on cold outreach
- Design and run structured interview loops
- Conduct calibrated debriefs and ensure fast time-to-offer
- Negotiate offers and handle competing offers
- Assist with founder-assisted closes
- Operate with high agency and ownership
- Be direct and commercially honest with candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain detail-obsession on pipeline hygiene and weekly metrics
- Treat the ATS as a source of truth
