- 5+ years' experience in commercial aircraft design with EASA Part 21, Subpart J Design Organization or equivalent
- Experience within seat development and certification, including test witnessing and (E-)TSO programs
- Extensive experience with EASA regulatory and applicable airworthiness requirements
- High level of attention to detail and extensive experience with aircraft interior modification programs
- Experience in working effectively with colleagues and customers
- Proficiency with key engineering tools: Altair HyperWorks, PATRAN / NASTRAN
- Principled, reliable professional valuing integrity, safety, and accountability
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Aufgaben
- Lead certification activities for aircraft seating products
- Act as the technical focal point for stress, engineering, and certification topics
- Perform analytical and finite element calculations
- Assess and predict structural failure modes
- Execute root cause analysis
- Compile structural substantiation documents
- Review supplier data for seat integration approval
- Collaborate with Boeing teams and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of the aircraft cabin
