In this role, you will engage with customers to define complex electrical requirements for passenger seats, ensuring compliance and quality through collaboration with regulatory bodies and thorough documentation of design and certification processes.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher degree in engineering
• •10+ years of experience in Aerospace industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
• •5+ years of experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer in an EASA Design Organization or as an engineering Unit Member in an FAA Design Organization
• •Experience with aircraft interior modification programs, attention to detail, and knowledge of Fundamental Avionics, RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-178C, RTCA DO-254, and System Safety Assessment
• •5+ years of experience in leading complex projects and mentoring less experienced staff
• •Expertise with OEM data systems and tools: Catia V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT, AutoCAD
• •Principled, reliable professional valuing integrity, safety, and accountability
• •Comfort with a variable work statement and flexibility to support meetings across time zones
• •Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Aufgaben

• •Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements for passenger seats
• •Review supplier data for seat integration approval from an electrical perspective
• •Analyze and generate documentation for aircraft seating design and certification
• •Create wiring diagrams and installation drawings for harness fabrication
• •Develop test plans and reports, including System Safety and Equipment Qualification documents
• •Collaborate with the Office of Airworthiness and regulatory authorities
• •Supervise supplier performance to ensure compliance with integration requirements
