- Several years of experience in consulting or leading complex Data, Cloud, or platform transformation projects
- Strong expertise in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or modern data platform development
- Excellent knowledge of leading cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Excellent knowledge of modern Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, and big data technologies
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Hands-on experience with modern data integration frameworks
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code

- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with modern DevOps and Data Ops practices
- Understanding of translating business requirements into scalable cloud and data architectures
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams
- Effective communication with management and C-level stakeholders

- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable field
- Excellent communication skills in German

- Develop scalable data architectures for batch, streaming, and real-time workloads
- Establish best practices for Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security, and DataOps
- Evaluate emerging technologies and transform them into scalable production systems
- Analyse complex business requirements
- Translate business requirements into scalable cloud and data architectures
- Create a shared understanding of solutions among management, business departments, and engineering teams
- Support clients in modernizing their data landscape and migrating to modern cloud environments
- Lead complex Data and Cloud Engineering projects
- Ensure project delivery and governance meet client expectations
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of Data, Cloud, and Software Engineers
- Guide clients through architecture, design, implementation, and operation of platforms
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships
- Strategically develop existing accounts
- Identify new business opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, client workshops, and pitches
- Coach Consultants and Engineers
