Anforderungen

• PhD in life sciences or equivalent experience
• 4+ years relevant experience
• 10+ years experience with Master's or 12+ years with Bachelor's
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of emerging therapeutic modalities
• Hands-on expertise with knowledge extraction from literature and databases
• Competence in using GenAI models for knowledge extraction
• Proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with data engineering and SQL
• Knowledge of data pipeline frameworks and NLP
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new advances
• Demonstrated leadership in technology solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates scientific curiosity and technical creativity
• Excellent written and oral English language skills
• Openness to travel

• Lead the creation of new methods and algorithms for knowledge extraction
• Harmonize and monitor knowledge on emerging therapeutic approaches
• Evaluate new technologies and integrate them into business solutions
• Identify and fill strategic knowledge gaps in therapeutic modalities
• Design and implement innovative GenAI-based knowledge solutions
• Extract and integrate insights from literature, patents, and competitor intelligence
• Collaborate with EKA/IR and business teams on AI-powered solutions
• Conceive and implement advanced AI-powered insights solutions
• Develop high-quality intelligence solutions for novel therapeutic modalities
• Build robust data pipelines and analytical workflows for complex data
• Demonstrate knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D and therapeutic trends
• Proactively tackle complex problems and drive multiple projects
• Evaluate leads in novel modalities and incorporate findings into strategies
• Collaborate with teams to ensure solutions meet real-world needs
• Mentor junior data and information scientists
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field
• Author presentations and publications to communicate findings
• Ensure compliance with AbbVie’s standards and code of conduct
