- PhD in Life Sciences, related field, or comparable qualification
- Postdoctoral experience as a plus
- Practical experience in scientific Python programming
- Background in bioinformatics and/or biostatistics
- Understanding of data-driven scientific workflows
- Experience with Linux-based environments and HPC
- Experience with cloud-based analysis as plus
- Independent working style and communication skills
- Interest in scientifically oriented support roles
- Fluent English and good German knowledge
Aufgaben
- Design and maintain custom data management solutions
- Develop Python-based scripts and codebases
- Manage code testing, documentation, and deployment
- Bridge data generation with scientific interpretation
- Ensure reproducibility and traceability of results
- Integrate bioinformatic and biostatistical tools
- Execute workflows on HPC and cloud environments
- Select execution environments based on technical needs
- Maintain automation-related laboratory infrastructure
- Consult with project teams on requirements analysis
- Advance internal data management best practices
