- 5+ years machine learning engineering experience
- Strong software fundamentals (testing, profiling, CI/CD)
- Practical knowledge of evaluation at scale
- Experience with A/B experimentation
- Basics of causal inference
- Privacy-preserving learning patterns
- Motivation to embrace customer problems
- Ability to find innovative solutions
- Enjoyment of working on complex problems
- Enjoyment of working in international team
- Professional English proficiency
- German language skills (plus)
- Proactive action with hands-on mentality
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent cross-functional communication
Aufgaben
- Design data pipelines for ingestion, curation, pseudonymization, and versioning.
- Implement reproducible training and finetuning for GenAI edge models.
- Set up experiment tracking and artifact registries for model variants.
- Build evaluation suites covering KPIs like latency, memory, hallucination, safety, and harms.
- Optimize dataset construction for small LLMs, including instruction tuning, preference data, and synthetic data with controls.
- Build and operate data pipelines.
- Provide self-serve tools for the team.
