Anforderungen
- Several years of hands-on experience in Analytics Engineering and data modelling on modern cloud data platforms
- Translate business requirements into sustainable analytical data models
- Extensive experience working with dbt (dbt Core and/or dbt Cloud)
- Designed, implemented and developed analytics engineering solutions
- Strong command of dimensional data modelling (Kimball Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- Solid experience designing and implementing modern ELT and data transformation architectures
- Excellent SQL skills
- Comfortable using Python for automation, data analysis and development
- Practical experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Familiar with modern lakehouse architectures and table formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg)
- Understanding of Data Quality, Data Testing, Data Lineage and Data Governance
- Experience with Great Expectations, data catalogues or similar tools is an advantage
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 is considered a plus
- Experience with Semantic Layers or modern BI architectures is considered a plus
- Ownership of technical solution designs
- Advise clients as a trusted technical partner
- Support colleagues as a mentor and technical sparring partner
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Aufgaben
- Design and deliver modern analytics solutions
- Develop scalable data models and analytics architectures
- Design, develop, and own analytical data models
- Ensure high quality, performance, and maintainability of data models
- Build robust data transformation pipelines using dbt
- Establish best practices for testing, documentation, version control, and deployment
- Design scalable analytical data models using Kimball, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault 2.0
- Integrate diverse data sources into a consistent analytics landscape
- Establish and drive best practices for Data Quality, Data Testing, Data Lineage, and Data Governance
- Contribute to the development of modern analytics standards
- Optimize data models and query performance on cloud data platforms
- Leverage lakehouse architectures and technologies like Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions
- Take technical ownership of workstreams or project modules
- Act as a technical mentor and sparring partner for colleagues
- Advise clients as a trusted partner
- Facilitate workshops
- Present technical solutions in a clear and business-oriented way
