Anforderungen
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
- Several years (8-10) industry experience in AI/HPC infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with GPU systems (NVIDIA), drivers, CUDA, optimization
- Experience with distributed systems and high-performance networking (InfiniBand, NCCL)
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-prem infrastructure
- Practical experience with resource scheduling and workload orchestration (SLURM, Ray, NVIDIA Run:ai)
- Strong experience in infrastructure automation (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD)
- Proficiency in Python for infrastructure and system tooling
- Experience with training, fine-tuning, or serving ML models in production
- Exposure to large-scale industrial AI use cases (simulation, robotics, engineering)
Aufgaben
- Design and build GPU-centric AI infrastructure
- Operate high-performance compute environments
- Optimize compute, storage, and networking
- Develop and operate scheduling systems
- Ensure efficient GPU resource utilization
- Build and maintain automated infrastructure
- Contribute to BMW-specific AI use cases
- Take technical ownership of AI infrastructure
- Define best practices for AI infrastructure
- Guide less experienced engineers
