- Several years of Senior Accountant / General Ledger Accountant experience
- Strong hands-on IFRS expertise, in particular IFRS 16, and solid knowledge of Local GAAP (HGB)
- Experience with Group Accounting, in-house tax functions, and external auditors
- Solid SAP S/4HANA FI knowledge (GL, ledger logic)
- Structured, independent working style with high quality attention
- Very good English skills
- German language skills required
Aufgaben
- Ensure IFRS- and HGB-compliant financial statements
- Develop ledger structures and accounting views in SAP S/4HANA
- Manage General Ledger and intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with Group Accounting for consolidation and reporting
- Handle fixed asset accounting, applying IFRS 16
- Maintain IFRS- and HGB-compliant day-to-day accounting
- Contribute to IFRS, Local GAAP, and tax-relevant ledger development
- Prepare accounting data for tax filings, including VAT and WHT
- Work with in-house Group Tax on tax-related matters
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and statutory auditors
- Support Operations and Controlling on project accounting
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
