- Understanding of thermo-mechanical coupling and material behavior under extreme conditions
- Ability to interpret and validate simulation results using test data
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
Aufgaben
- Perform structural design and analysis of rocket engines
- Conduct strength, stiffness, stability, and life analyses under various loads
- Define and assess structural load cases from different scenarios
- Support mechanical design of load-bearing components
- Perform finite element analyses, including linear and nonlinear
- Define boundary conditions, safety factors, and structural margins
- Correlate analysis results with test data to improve designs
- Support structural, pressure, and load testing activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document assumptions, models, results, and design decisions
