- Profound understanding of physics, fluid dynamics, manufacturing processes, and rocket engine/propulsion systems
- Profound understanding of manufacturing methods of rocket engine components
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Knowledge of Creo is an advantage
- Experience with Windchill is an advantage
- Experience with qualification/certification
- Work experience in a start-up environment
Aufgaben
- Maintain and manage the master CAD model of the rocket engine
- Design engine components and create detailed technical drawings
- Perform thermo-mechanical simulations and iterate designs based on results
- Ensure manufacturability, tolerance accuracy, and material suitability
- Coordinate with analysis, test, and integration teams for design updates
- Communicate with suppliers about manufacturability and design requirements
- Review supplier drawings for compliance with specifications
- Maintain BOMs and assist with procurement and assembly
- Document design changes through the engineering change process
