- Experience in platform engineering or adjacent field
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong expertise in modern data stack
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP BigQuery, Snowflake
- Experience in operating production cloud infrastructure on Azure or GCP
- Proficiency with IaC (e.g. Terraform), automation tooling, orchestration tooling (e.g. dbt, Airflow)
- Very good programming skills in Python and/or Java
- Experience with SDLC tools including Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, OpenShift
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)

- Collaborate to understand requirements and create stories
- Design solutions for data platform
- Implement and assist in testing requirements
- Develop reusable building blocks for data ingestion
- Create transformation and distribution processes
- Design infrastructure components using Terraform
- Utilize infrastructure automation tools
- Collaborate with architects and security engineers
- Improve compliance and security posture
- Enhance reliability with stakeholders
- Translate product vision into implementations with the product owner
