Anforderungen
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering
- Exposure to regulated industries (HealthTech, FinTech, InsurTech)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, GCP (Pub/Sub, Dataflow)
- Orchestration on Airflow or Dagster
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Comfortable with modern table formats (Parquet, Iceberg)
- Exposure to streaming and CDC patterns (e.g. Kafka)
- Implemented PII protection in production
- Implemented masking, pseudonymization, tokenization
- Built GDPR-compliant workflows for subject rights
- Experienced with audit logging
- Experienced with end-to-end and column-level lineage
- Experienced with RBAC/ABAC frameworks
- Experienced with data catalog tooling
- Experienced with data contract patterns
- Knowledge of SOC 2 or ISO 27001 evidence requirements
- Supported audits in practice
- Built CI/CD pipelines with testing, monitoring, and observability
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Hands-on, proactive, and collaborative mindset
- Able to bridge technical and business needs
- Able to coach the team
Aufgaben
- Design scalable data models in Snowflake
- Build robust data ingestion pipelines with dbt, Fivetran, and GCP
- Implement quality, observability, and CI/CD practices
- Own PII protection end-to-end
- Mask, pseudonymize, tokenize, and encrypt data using GCP KMS/Secret Manager
- Manage GDPR workflows including right-to-be-forgotten and data subject access requests
- Establish RBAC/ABAC frameworks
- Set data catalog standards and data contracts
- Implement audit logging and column-level lineage
- Ensure audit-readiness against SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Build and maintain a governed semantic layer
- Define business metrics for self-service BI and AI-powered analytics
- Mentor the data team in engineering best practices
- Promote secure data handling
- Establish cost monitoring across pipelines
- Drive proactive platform optimization
