Aufgaben
- Reveal nanoscale ionic transport at electrode-electrolyte interfaces
- Design and test microbattery closed-cell setups using MEMS chip technology
- Perform operando characterizations of solid-solid and solid-liquid interfaces
- Use probe corrected scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) and spectroscopy techniques
- Compare processes at Na-ion carbonaceous anode and their composites for SIBs
- Test Zn composite cathodes for ZIBs
- Cooperate with DC1 and DC4 on nanoscale characterization of materials
- Assist with characterizing carbonaceous, composite covalent anode materials in SIBs
- Assist with characterizing multifunctional ion-conductive polymers in ZIBs
- Compare operando experiments with ex-situ TEM analysis of materials
- Probe chemical composition and electronic structure at interfaces
- Assemble and study S-L, S-S, and S-S-L interfaces in microbattery devices
- Unveil interface-performance relationships in SIBs and ZIBs
