Aufgaben
- Develop operando scanning TEM (STEM) and EELS methods
- Characterize adsorption phenomena and electric double layer formation
- Use room-temperature ionic liquids (ILs) as electrolytes
- Test IL structuring in nanoconfined environments
- Evaluate IL behavior under applied bias in confinement
- Correlate STEM and EELS data with NMR and operando XPS measurements
- Observe and quantify charge storage mechanisms in electrode materials
- Study electrolyte degradation processes
- Collaborate with DC5 for atomistic simulations
- Gain comprehensive insights into S-L interface structure and dynamics
- Understand electrolyte behavior in nanometer confinements
- Design a correlative setup for EELS and XPS studies
- Study IL-carbon anode interactions under biasing conditions
- Conduct NMR cell experiments at P&L for 5 months
- Design correlative TEM and XPS setup at ULEI for 3 months
