- Define and optimize Allianz Group’s reinsurance and retrocession strategy
- Align reinsurance strategy with Group’s risk appetite and business goals
- Structure and place Group-wide reinsurance and retrocession programs
- Set and steer target reinsurance pricing
- Negotiate with global brokers and reinsurers for optimized outcomes
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with reinsurers and brokers
- Advise the Group Retrocession Committee on strategic decisions
- Ensure cross-functional alignment across Allianz entities and centers
- Lead and facilitate annual strategic meetings with global reinsurance brokers
- Brief and advise Allianz SE and Allianz Re Board members
- Prepare senior leadership for major international reinsurance events
- Oversee complex data analyses for reinsurance cessions and portfolio performance
- Translate data insights into strategic recommendations
- Manage stakeholder situations, resolving conflicts and addressing resistance
