- Technical knowledge of the energy space including Downstream, Chemical, Power, Mining and Renewables
- Outcome focused, self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
- Ability to rapidly evaluate, prioritize and select submissions to be underwritten
- Ability to analyze policy wordings, including manuscript forms
- Demonstrated knowledge of current market conditions and trends
- Relationships with tier 1 and 2 brokers and ability to develop new relationships
- Demonstrated sales, marketing, and relationship building experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment making quick decisions
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time
Aufgaben
- Underwrite and manage energy risk portfolios
- Develop and underwrite new business opportunities
- Exercise underwriting authority per guidelines
- Negotiate policy terms that align with company directives
- Communicate value propositions to brokers and clients
- Manage producer and client relationships in assigned territory
- Provide superior customer service
- Attend client and broker meetings and industry events
- Establish relationships with zonal leadership
- Collaborate with peers and the CUO office for market consistency
- Communicate portfolio profitability to internal stakeholders
- Identify industry trends and develop strategies
- Participate in special underwriting projects
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards
