Anforderungen
- 5 to 15 years of business development experience
- Degree in a life sciences discipline
- Extensive network in the Japanese life sciences ecosystem
- Deep understanding of early drug discovery and related fields
- Strong strategic mindset and excellent commercial judgment
- Proven record of winning new business and partnership building
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Aufgaben
- Lead business development strategy in the Japanese pharma and biotech markets
- Identify and convert new business opportunities into strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with senior scientific and business stakeholders
- Position opportunities for standalone and integrated discovery programs
- Develop multi-project collaborations aligned to customer needs in Japan
- Represent Proteros at industry conferences and customer meetings in Japan
- Execute account plans to drive sustainable business growth
- Collaborate with scientific and commercial leadership on proposals and strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams in Munich for project scoping and delivery
- Lead commercial negotiations and structure complex partnership models
