- Collaborator management skills, influencing at executive level
- Broker and client relationship management experience
- Commercial approach balancing customer outcomes and profitability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in German and English essential
- Positive attitude and collaborative work ethic
- Legal right to live and work in Germany
Aufgaben
- Lead and develop the DACH Claims function
- Drive a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Manage the end-to-end Claims journey
- Ensure excellent service delivery and technical accuracy
- Deliver strong financial and operational performance
- Control indemnity and manage expenses
- Build trusted relationships with brokers and clients
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Actuarial teams
- Provide claims insights for pricing and portfolio strategy
- Ensure claims reporting and critical metric controls
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation
- Implement digitalisation and process optimisation
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory frameworks
- Represent Claims in the DACH leadership team
- Align with Markel’s wider organization
- Shape and drive the regional Claims strategy
- Leverage digital tools and data insights
- Enhance efficiency, consistency, and service quality
