- Proven ability to apply investigator grant negotiation principles
- Effective interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in English and local language
- Capable of drafting and negotiating contract provisions and budgetary issues with oversight
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and decision-based thinking
- Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Able to organize competing priorities and review contractual risk
- Effective use of automated systems and computerized applications (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Problem solving and teamwork skills

- Prepare and negotiate contracts
- Finalize the contract process
- Draft, review, and negotiate site agreements
- Finalize agreements with study sites
- Negotiate investigator grant budgets
- Negotiate contractual terms and conditions
- Ensure compliance with negotiation parameters
- Ensure compliance with authority approvals
- Ensure compliance with contractual processes
- Ensure compliance with client expectations
- Ensure compliance with budgetary guidance
- Ensure compliance with templates and process
- Identify and assess legal risks
- Identify and assess financial risks
- Identify and assess operational risks
- Escalate risks to appropriate organizational levels
- Provide recommendations for contract negotiations
- Offer alternative resolutions for negotiations
- Coordinate internal departments for site startup
- Align contractual activities with site startup
- Achieve target cycle times for site activations
