End-to-end total rewards strategy definition and execution, including job architecture and salary banding, for a tech or multi-function company. Solid understanding of German employment law and tax context required. 6 weeks remote work from outside Germany, home office setup budget, subsidized public transport.
Anforderungen
- Several years in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards in a tech, product, or multi-function environment
- Experience designing job architecture, benchmarking, salary bands, and comp cycles
- Strong reward analytics skills (survey data, regression, pay-equity, range utilization)
- Comfortable steering senior stakeholders and driving decisions
- Solid understanding of German employment context (labour law, tax/social security)
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
- Willingness to meet stakeholders onsite in Hamburg & Berlin 1–2× per month
- Experience with SuccessFactors Compensation or similar HRIS and compensation planning tools
- Exposure to international markets (ideally tech and/or automotive) and LTI frameworks
- Background in systemic coaching/design or mediation to support change and communication
Aufgaben
- Own the Total Rewards strategy end-to-end
- Define the compensation philosophy and frameworks
- Lead benchmarking, leveling, and salary banding for roles
- Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Plan and execute annual compensation processes
- Steer calibration and governance with leadership
- Refine variable pay and recognition programs
- Assess, design, and negotiate benefits for Germany and international locations
- Manage vendors and service level agreements
- Build clear reward dashboards for leaders and employees
- Monitor pay equity and budget impact
- Ensure compliance with labor, tax, and social-security requirements
- Prepare documentation and audits
- Collaborate with works council on compensation topics
- Create playbooks and guides for managers
