- Proven knowledge in engineering technologies supporting product development/manufacturing in Drug Substance manufacturing equipment
- Strong technical, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Expert and leader in specific field (e.g., leads industry forums, invited speaker)
- Strong knowledge of cGMP/GLP regulations, ICH, FDA CMC, ISPE, and PDA Guidance Documents preferred
- Comfort with data/analytics and digital manufacturing concepts supporting modern decision-making, transparency, and compliance
- Experience translating emerging technologies into standards, business cases/roadmaps, and scalable deployment
- English fluency (Written/Oral)
- Proven capability of acquiring knowledge and applying problem-solving methodologies

- Champion transformation of process and manufacturing technologies
- Set technical direction and build technology visions
- Enable scalable execution of technology strategies
- Provide specialist engineering expertise for safe, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions
- Translate site and network needs into harmonized best practices and standards
- Accelerate innovation through industry benchmarking and digitalization
- Lead and develop technology visions and execution roadmaps
- Contribute to innovation roadmaps for process engineering strategies
- Scout technology and participate in industry conferences
- Drive technology strategies leveraging digitalization for improved operations
- Raise awareness of advanced manufacturing expectations and global guidance
- Lead DS process engineering contributions and technical strategies
- Evaluate and improve existing processes and equipment
- Establish and lead technology groups and Communities of Practice
- Develop and author standards and guidelines for DS process equipment
- Ensure consistent application of standards across the network
- Maintain collaborative communication with the process engineering community
- Develop and nurture core competencies of site SMEs
- Provide technical support for CAPEX investment projects
- Support feasibility studies, FEED, scope definition, and vendor selection
- Evaluate equipment design selection criteria
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders for solution development and deployment
