Anforderungen
- University degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent); advanced degree preferred
- Extensive senior-level experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical engineering environments
- Experience working across geographies with cultural, organizational, and time-zone differences
- Demonstrated experience in FEED, front-end engineering governance, or EPCM design assurance
- Experience in an Engineering company (A&E, EPCM, GC) preferred
- Strong personal integrity and independence of judgment
- High attention to detail and big-picture system thinking
- Ability to remain firm under pressure while maintaining constructive collaboration
- Excellent ability to frame complex technology, design, and investment decisions for executive audiences
- Strong analytical and structuring skills
- High credibility in senior, cross-functional, and external partner settings
Aufgaben
- Design and implement Takeda’s global design decision governance system
- Safeguard early investment and FEED decisions
- Protect decision integrity with clear criteria and documentation
- Assess innovative technologies in a structured, risk-transparent way
- Ensure traceable and defensible design decisions
- Define and evolve the Design Assurance & Review (DAR) framework
- Set decision quality standards and approval thresholds
- Apply consistent decision governance across projects and regions
- Ensure early investment outputs are designed for FEED
- Prevent premature solution selection and undocumented assumptions
- Escalate non-decision-ready early-phase material
- Own and govern design decision artefacts
- Maintain traceability of major design and technology decisions
- Support investment governance bodies with audit-ready records
- Protect FEED decision baselines from late re-litigation
- Escalate deviations from approved decision logic
- Ensure post-decision changes follow formal deviation processes
- Interface with Design Delivery Leads to clarify decision boundaries
- Align design governance with enterprise investment controls
