- 5+ years B2B SaaS closing experience with quota attainment
- 1+ years team lead/coaching experience
- Sales experience in manufacturing, industrial, or energy-adjacent verticals
- Strategic thinking and business case building
- Enthusiasm for improvement and making things better
- Process-driven with bias for efficiency and system improvement
- Professional proficiency in German (C2) and English
- Own point of view and constructive pushback
- Experience at high-growth startup maturing sales motion
- Familiarity with energy management, sustainability, or climate-tech
- Experience with structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, BANT, Challenger, or similar)
- HubSpot CRM expertise
- Existing network in German Mittelstand/manufacturing
Aufgaben
- Carry a quota and close deals
- Own and close your own mid-market manufacturing deals
- Run the full sales cycle from discovery to close
- Lead by example in deal execution
- Build business cases from first principles
- Lead and develop a team of 2-3 AEs
- Run weekly 1:1s, deal reviews, and coaching sessions
- Provide real-time feedback on calls and demos
- Provide feedback on business case presentations
- Set and track individual and team KPIs
- Ensure AEs have necessary sales enablement resources
- Sharpen and accelerate the sales playbook
- Make successful sales processes more repeatable and scalable
- Define qualification criteria, demo frameworks, and negotiation strategies
- Evolve sales methodology with founders and GTM team
- Tighten stage-gate criteria and improve deal hygiene
- Improve onboarding for faster AE ramp-up
- Identify and remove inefficiencies in the sales process
- Automate repetitive tasks using AI tooling
- Improve pipeline intelligence with AI
- Free up selling time for the team with AI
- Own pipeline strategy and reporting
- Ensure pipeline visibility across all stages
- Conduct scenario planning and analyze conversion funnels
- Provide feedback to Marketing and SDR on lead quality
- Refine Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) with Marketing and SDR
- Provide feedback on messaging to Marketing and SDR
- Collaborate with Product on feature prioritization
- Own forecasting accuracy for the AE team
- Conduct pipeline reviews and commit calls
- Flag risks in the sales pipeline
- Report on sales performance and insights to leadership
