Aufgaben
- Lead statutory financial statement preparation and filing for DACH entities
- Coordinate year-end statutory reporting and disclosures
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
- Manage statutory adjustments from group reporting to local GAAP
- Coordinate with external advisors for statutory accounts and filings
- Maintain statutory accounting calendars and meet deadlines
- Act as primary contact for external auditors across DACH entities
- Manage statutory audits end-to-end
- Coordinate internal audit requests and remediation actions
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and control deficiencies
- Support SOX/internal control compliance with the US team
- Oversee VAT return preparation and submission for DACH entities
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of VAT reporting
- Review VAT treatment of complex transactions
- Support VAT audits and inquiries from tax authorities
- Monitor changes in VAT legislation and ensure compliance
- Own balance sheet integrity across all DACH entities
- Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve aged or unusual reconciling items
- Drive continuous improvement in balance sheet control processes
- Ensure EU entities comply with US GAAP, corporate policies, and SOX
- Own and maintain SOX control framework across EU entities
- Partner with US Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and Controllership
- Coordinate remediation of control deficiencies
