- Manage technical relationships with customers and partners
- Oversee system configuration and requirement management
- Ensure technical consistency and interface specifications
- Manage design changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as main technical contact with the customer
- Develop optimized solutions balancing performance and cost
- Ensure consistency between rolling stock and signaling
- Validate hypotheses for performance calculations
- Support the homologation process with the customer
- Manage interface specification
- Lead preliminary and final design phases
- Develop and motivate the Engineering Project/Tender team
- Implement engineering methods and tools
- Transfer knowledge from previous projects
- Support the Project Manager in achieving project goals
