- •Provide legal services for the commercial portfolio
- •Manage physical and financial commodity trading legalities
- •Handle trading, shipment, and transportation disputes
- •Support trade and structured finance transactions
- •Instruct and supervise external legal counsel
- •Identify and procure necessary in-house legal resources
- •Implement office standards with the General Counsel
- •Manage disputes from live advice to enforcement
- •Oversee arbitration, litigation, and mediation processes
- •Report dispute progress to management and desks
- •Provide legal assistance for emergency response issues
- •Draft and advise on commercial trading agreements
- •Review sale contracts and structured finance documents
- •Update standard templates and MOU documentation
- •Advise on business sanctions and regulations
- •Build relationships across the global legal network
