- Establish and maintain relationships with banking partners and commercial traders
- Understand LBMA/COMEX standards, vaulting process, and international bullion markets
- Manage unallocated/allocated accounts, lease agreements, and precious repos
- Monitor and mark to market weekly stock positions
- Process payments and manage cash positions with banks
- Cover sales risks with banks and/or insurance
- Review and issue L/Cs or Bank Guarantees for commodity purchases
- Analyze financing needs and negotiate transactions with banks
- Monitor financing utilization and optimize financing
- Negotiate and document financing facilities
- Prepare and dispatch invoices and original documents for payment
- Structure cost-effective banking solutions for physical trading
- Control and monitor risks related to daily commodity purchases and sales
- Coordinate new trades and flows with commercial and operations departments
- Acquire and establish new banking relationships
- Train junior team members
- Assess physical transactions for risk and financing compatibility
- Report on credit and performance exposure
- Manage all aspects of LCs and collections
- Review and approve spot and term contracts for finance risks
