Investment Sales Leader – Insurance(m/w/x)

- At least 7 years senior business development or sales experience
- Focus on insurance investors, balance-sheet solutions, and/or distribution partnerships
- Experience across European markets
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Established senior commercial relationships with insurers and distribution partners
- History of closing strategic deals
- Solid understanding of insurance investment objectives
- Solid understanding of capital/regulatory drivers (Solvency II, IFRS, local regimes)
- Solid understanding of ALM considerations
- Solid understanding of insurer buying processes
- Strong end-to-end sales skills (origination, solution design, negotiation, close)
- Commercial acumen
- Deal structuring expertise
- Ability to execute regional go-to-market plans
- Ability to prioritise accounts
- Ability to identify scalable distribution models
- Maintain discipline and focus on outcomes
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Professional credentials (e.g., CFA) are desirable
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in one or more major European languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish) is strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe
- Empathy for insurer priorities
- Deliver commercially viable, compliant solutions
- Initiative with disciplined follow-through

Aufgaben
- Drive growth in advisory and asset-based revenue
- Achieve new revenue targets for insurance investment solutions
- Support 20% CAGR for the insurance segment by 2030
- Diversify revenue across non-pension business lines
- Originate, qualify, structure, negotiate, and close opportunities
- Collaborate with Global Insurance and regional teams
- Implement regional Insurance sales strategy
- Translate strategic priorities into account and territory plans
- Manage active sales pipeline from prospecting to close
- Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM maintenance
- Apply disciplined opportunity qualification and deal economics
- Promote profitable growth aligned with risk and compliance standards
- Identify market opportunities in balance-sheet solutions
- Identify market opportunities in distribution partnerships
- Lead sales activities to acquire new insurer clients
- Lead sales activities to establish strategic distribution partnerships
- Build and nurture senior relationships with decision-makers
- Design client solutions for insurers' investment objectives
- Address insurers' balance-sheet constraints and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with marketing and Global Insurance
- Execute targeted go-to-market initiatives and campaigns
- Leverage Marsh McLennan intersections for introductions
- Represent Mercer’s insurance investment capabilities
- Collaborate with Head of Insurance Sales and local teams
- Support local and regional commercial talent development
