- Expert knowledge in Warehousing & Distribution processes and Supply Chain Management
- Very good knowledge of Warehouse Automation & Material Handling Equipment
- Very good knowledge of Sourcing and Procurement methodologies and concepts
- Substantial experience on strategic projects (Consulting experience preferred)
- Develop and implement category strategies, select, manage, and build supplier partnerships

- Experience delivering through others and partnering with multiple business functions

- University degree in Engineering, Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or Procurement
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL & POWER POINT

- Deliver superior results and competitive advantage in Distribution and Warehousing procurement
- Co-orchestrate Logistics spend for optimal value
- Improve supply chain efficiency and resilience
- Drive breakthrough ideas and best-in-class approaches
- Manage robust sourcing cycles and supplier relationships
- Balance total cost of ownership
- Define strategic and tactical procurement direction
- Lead transformation and optimization of procurement processes
- Interface with cross-functional stakeholders for efficiencies
- Own, lead, and execute category, sourcing, and supplier strategies for the Distribution Network
- Challenge the status quo using in-depth insights and benchmarking
- Uncover breakthrough opportunities for the Distribution network
- Lead procurement projects, including tenders, CAPEX & OPEX management, and zero-based budgeting
- Manage sourcing and optimization projects
- Create concepts, business cases, and analysis
- Enable concepts via communication and project management
- Assess current procurement practices
- Apply strategic sourcing methodologies for cost reduction
- Design cost governance and spend policies
- Ensure compliance across the organization
- Build, coordinate, and manage cross-functional networks
- Define value, spend parameters, quality, and service levels
- Address cost drivers
- Develop procurement and category knowledge and methodologies
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function
- Enable and ensure transparency of spend
- Optimize efficiency of procedures and costs in collaboration with business functions
