- Deep understanding of Linux systems engineering and cluster networking
- Deep understanding of Python for scientific workflows and automation
- Deep understanding of accelerator design and integration (GPUs, AI accelerators, FPGAs)
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts, hybrid workflows, or quantum SDKs (strong plus)
- Proven experience designing end-to-end HPC or hybrid architectures
- Ability to engage at high-level architectural strategy
- Ability to engage at deep technical implementation detail
- Experience leading workload assessments
- Experience leading architecture design sessions
- Experience leading technical workshops
- Experience leading POCs and performance benchmarks
- Strong technical writing skills (architecture docs, RFP/RFI responses, design proposals)
- Ability to present confidently to technical experts
- Ability to present confidently to executive stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across Europe
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent structure and clarity, written and verbal
- Systems-thinking mindset
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working autonomously in exploratory contexts

- Define and design hybrid architectures integrating quantum computing into HPC environments
- Shape technical strategy with enterprise, HPC centers, and research institutions
- Architect hybrid workflows
- Provide technical leadership across presales, solution design, and adoption
- Lead technical discovery with HPC centers and industry R&D teams
- Assess existing HPC infrastructures and workloads
- Identify hybrid HPC–quantum opportunities
- Propose strategic architectures aligned with customer objectives
- Architect solutions integrating quantum processors, control electronics, and networks
- Define system sizing and performance models
- Develop workload placement strategies and hybrid workflow pipelines
- Produce architecture documents and design specifications
- Advise CTOs and HPC leaders on hybrid computing strategy
- Recommend integration patterns and networking designs
- Guide customers on infrastructure readiness and security
- Design proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations
- Build custom workflows and domain-specific demos
- Support pilot deployments, including on-premise installations
- Train HPC teams on Quandela's SDK and cloud platform
- Produce architecture guides and technical reference materials
- Contribute to building technical blueprints for repeatable deployments
- Feed customer needs into the product roadmap
- Support technical qualification and RFP responses
- Contribute to standards and interoperability initiatives
