Anforderungen
- PhD in biochemistry or related field with excellent track record
- 1-2 years working experience in pharmaceutical industry regarding development of protein therapeutics
- Good acquaintance with transient protein expression in mammalian cell culture, purification process optimization and in-depth physicochemical characterization (i.e. using HPLC methods) of antibody-based candidates
- Strong acquaintance regarding rational construct design, protein expression (mammalian, insect, bacterial), chromatographic purification techniques, purification process optimization and protein characterization methods
- Experience with non-antibody-based biologics as asset
- Hands-on mentality with problem-solving mindset and attention to details
- Great interest in scientific project management
- Experience with industry-standard operational management tools such as LIMS systems
- Independent, service-oriented working, outstanding team spirit, excellent organization and communication skills
Aufgaben
- Contribute scientific expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Manage and plan research projects independently
- Develop and optimize protein production methods
- Characterize and evaluate drug candidates using advanced methods
- Assess and implement new technologies and equipment
- Prepare and review project documentation (SOPs, reports, presentations)
- Train colleagues on project documentation and procedures
- Present scientific results to stakeholders
- Communicate project content confidently to colleagues, customers, and partners
