- Basic understanding of German accounting standards, ideally with HGB exposure
- Structured and proactive work approach, taking ownership
- Strong communication skills in English & German
- DATEV knowledge (report extraction, interface navigation, tax advisor communication)
- Experience in financial data preparation for management reporting or investor updates
- Familiarity with project-based or creative industries
- Basic experience with forecasting or financial modeling
- Comfort working in a small, scaling team; hands-on, adaptable
Aufgaben
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing invoices
- Ensure timely processing and documentation
- Follow up on open receivables
- Liaise with clients or account managers
- Ensure smooth approval and payment processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Support monthly closing activities
- Collect and organize financial data
- Prepare and track budgets and forecasts
- Support actuals across departments
- Assist in regular financial reporting
- Maintain internal trackers
- Monitor key financial KPIs
- Support budget owners with insights
- Serve as first point of contact for budget questions
- Coordinate with external vendors
- Organize and update finance documents
- Help onboard working students or freelancers
- Support finance process documentation
- Improve internal finance processes
